Michael Hooper GWIC decision on 29 August 2024 to suspend Michael Hooper for breach of Rule 156(f)(ii) for a period of 16 weeks, with 9 weeks wholly and conditionally suspended for 24 months conditional on Mr Hooper not breaching this, or any like, rule during this period. 06/09/2024 Appeal dismissed. The orders made at first instance are confirmed. Mr Hooper’s suspension to commence at midnight on 13 September 2024. Appeal deposit forfeited. Decision
Robert Howard GWIC decision on 15 February 2024 to issue fines of $700, $300 and $300 for breach of Rules 145(1), 148(1)(a) and 149(1) 04/09/2024 Appeal in respect of Charges 1 and 2 is allowed, findings and penalties quashed and Charges dismissed. Appeal in respect of Charge 3 is dismissed and fine of $300 confirmed. Appeal deposit refunded Decision
Sarah Fellowes GWIC decision on 31 May 2024 to disqualify Sarah Fellowes for a period of 55 months for 16 breaches of Rule 156(f); and to impose a fine of $1,650 for 6 breaches of cl 10(3)(c) of the Greyhound Racing Regulation 2019. 02/09/2024 Application for Stay granted Decision
Ashley Marshall GWIC decision on 19 February 2024 to disqualify Ashley Marshall for 2 years for breach of Rule 141(1)(a); and impose a fine of $400 for breach of Rule 151(2). 30/08/2024 Appeal in respect of Rule 141(1)(a) offence is dismissed; 2-year disqualification is confirmed. Appeal in respect of Rule 151(2) offence is upheld; fine reduced to $200. Appeal deposit refunded Decision
Chloe Bilal GWIC decision on 18 October 2023 to suspend Chloe Bilal for a period of 11 months for breach of Rule 141(1)(a), 2 charges served concurrently 23/08/2024 Appeal upheld. Penalty varied. Suspension reduced to 8 months, to commence from midnight on 2 September 2024. Appeal deposit refunded Decision
Casie O'Neil GWIC decision on 29 April 2024 to disqualify Ms O’Neil for periods of 12 months for breaches of Rules R159(5)(a) and R159(5)(b); to be served concurrently commencing 8 May 2024 and expiring 8 May 2025. 19/08/2024 Appeal upheld. Penalties set aside. In lieu, 5 months disqualification imposed for each charge to be served concurrently. Appeal deposit refunded Decision
