Greyhound applications & notifications / Whelping Notice and Litter Registration
When a female has whelped a Whelping Notice and Litter Registration must be submitted to GWIC, and the litter registration fee paid within 14 days of the whelping date. The breeder of the litter is responsible for notifying the Commission and paying the registration fee.
The Whelping Notice and Litter Registration must include:
- Name of Dam and Sire
- Name and contact details of breeding
- Address of where litter will be located
- Payment details.
Except with the prior consent of the Commission, a litter of pups cannot be divided or relocated from the address of whelping until the pups have been earbranded, microchipped and vaccinated.
