The Commission commenced an inquiry into the bona fides of the training of greyhound Reel ‘Em Bluey, that was withdrawn from a race at the Gardens on 4 March 2022. After hearing evidence on Thursday 19 May, the Commission has adjourned the matter to consider further evidence. It is anticipated that this matter will be concluded in the next two weeks. At yesterday’s hearing the Commission made the determination to lift the embargo. The greyhound is now permitted to race.
